Week 8- Food and Mood
We all know those people who get “hangry.” When they get hungry, they become inpatient, irritable, or just mean. Well that’s not the only way food affects our mood.
This week I am attaching two documents to deliver the educational information on the food and mood connection. The first is informational from 1) Tuft's University in Boston. The second is a worksheet from 2) Kansas State. You don't have to turn this in but it might help you to work through it. If you want to read more, that are extra resources below.
Challenge: Take an introspective look at what your emotional state is when you are hungry, while you are eating, and after your meal or snack. Write these three emotions down for at least three different meal/snack times.
